Residential real estate (single family homes, condominiums, townhomes, and duplexes) saw a significant increase of 134% in average sold price, climbing to $2,431,530 in January 2020, compared to $1,041,297 in January 2019. The total sales volume also grew by 223% to $43,767,544 in January 2020 compared to $13,536,865 in January 2019.
 
The most expensive sale in San Miguel County for January 2020 was a 3,947 square-foot, 5-bedroom, 5.5 bath residence located at 201 South Fir Street in Telluride which sold for $8,200,000.
