MARCH: THE SEASON FINALE BEGINS
What a great season it's been so far! It's hard to believe that spring is just around the corner. I'm finding myself soaking up every moment of this winter before the greens are open for play in May. With nearly 200" of snow so far this season and spectacular early season snowfall, the mountain is bustling with skiers and boards getting their last turns in the last month of winter.
March is expected to be a good month for snow, with 50" projected on average. There are numerous exciting events planned for the weeks to come including live concerts at our renowned Sheridan Opera House and Club Red venues, performances at the Palm Theater, BBQ block parties and the first annual "Skidola" featuring a snowy uphill race to raise funds for the Peter Inglis Avalanche Education Fund. Of course Closing Day on Sunday, April 5th will be one for the books (you may see the Carlson family sneak a run across the Pond Skim), but there's so much to enjoy before then that the primary focus is on this last month of celebration!
If you're in town during the next few weeks, I look forward to taking a few laps out on the resort. Please reach out at any time, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
Happy Spring,
Lars
